CLASS OF 2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!!!

Thank you for choosing to complete the Mustang Born Alumni Scholarship Application. Please read the application instructions carefully and make sure to submit all information by the deadline in order to be eligible for scholarship consideration.

The Foundation is looking for applicants who demonstrate active involvement in and commitment to Milwaukie High School / Milwaukie Academy of the Arts and the greater community. All scholarship applications will be reviewed by the Mustang Born Alumni Scholarship Board. Each board member will evaluate the applications and score the applicants based on the following criteria (listed in order of consideration): community involvement/service, extracurricular activities, academic and career goals as well as financial need.

Once finalists have been selected, the board will interview each finalist. Based on the interviews, at least three scholarship recipients will be selected. Selected scholarship recipients will be awarded a one-time $3000 scholarship toward tuition, fees, books and supplies at the college/post-high school educational institution (4 year college, community college, career/technical school or program, trade school or program, vocation school or program, apprenticeship, etc) of choice.

In order to be eligible for consideration for the Mustang Born Alumni Scholarship, a student must:

• Graduate from Milwaukie High School or Milwaukie Academy of the Arts with a high school diploma

• Enroll in one of the following within 6 months of graduating from MHS/MAA:

  • community college

  • four-year college or university

  • career-technical school

  • vocational school or program

  • trade school or program

  • apprenticeship program

• Submit a completed scholarship application by the posted scholarship deadline: Friday, April 18th, 2025 at 4 pm.

  NOTE: Applicants have the option to submit the "Educational and Career Goals" response and the "Supplemental Questions" responses of the application via video. Enter "video" as the response on the application. Then email a .mp4 file as an attachment to mustangbornfund@gmail.com by the application deadline.
